Post 4 - Viruskenner International Kick off – ITT Buonarroti 19 January 2022

On 19 January 2022 ITT Buonarroti hosted the Kick off meeting of the Erasmus+ Project Viruskenner international - 2020-1-NL01-KA229-064532_2





Prof. Eric van Gorp from the Erasmus University Hospital in Rotterdam, founder of the project, and Valery van Gorp, presenter and coordinator of the project, visited ITT Buonarroti.

Students and teachers participated in a journey through the world of viruses, Viruskenner International 2022 edition was introduced and students were assigned the challenging task of creating a product to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

The Viruskenner programme is supported by Viruskenner coaches, an internet platform, a website, an e-learning module and online masterclasses and ‘life’ Zoom events. A message for all participants: “I hope you all have a good time and make the most of this opportunity to improve your English, your digital competences and soft skills. I’m sure collaborating with the students of our Dutch school partner (Keizer Karell College) and Suriname students will help you develop a sense of global citizenship.
