Professor dr. Eric C.M. van Gorp, virologist at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam and president of the Cirion Foundation, invites us to follow him and get an impression of the Viroscience Department in the Medical Centre, where the medical doctors, virologists, researchers and medical students take care of patients and do research to find new treatments and vaccines.
They are also the team who will coach the participants to Viruskenner International and other secondary high school students, attending both ITT Buonarroti and Keizer Karell College, throughout the project.
"During the project you will become part of the team, working on solutions to prevent the spread of the infectious diseases" says Dr. Van Gorp to the students.
